Femara (letrozole) is an oral, non-steroidal aromatase inhibitor, usually indicated for the treatment of hormonally responsive breast cancer after surgery and radiation. This medication lowers estrogen levels in postmenopausal women, which can slow the growth of certain types of breast tumors.
