Technology Post: FBI Warns to Beware of Pop Up Window Security Risks When Traveling Abroad


In a Wired Enterprise article by Robert McMillan entitled:  FBI Warns Travelers of Unexplained Pop-Up Window Horror, The FBI has issued warnings that travelers abroad who use laptops could be attacked through pop-up windows while establishing an Internet connection in their hotel rooms.

Unfortunately the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center (“IC3″) has not released any further details so at this time it is not clear what actions can or should be taken to protect against such attacks.
